This preparation contains a number of cooling herbs which help to neutralize excess acidity, preventing heart-burn & ulcer formation.

Amla (Phyllanthus emblica) has antibacterial and astringent properties which prevent infection and help in the healing of ulcers. Yasthimadhu (Glycyrrhiza glabra) is sweet & cooling which soothes the irritation caused by acids. Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) has been found to be effective in the treatment of atonic dyspepsia. It is a mild purgative so it is also used to treat digestive and acidity complaints in infants and young children. Jeera (Cuminum cyminum) has long been considered a stimulant and carminative. They are stomachic or useful in diarrhoea and dyspepsia.

Bhumiamlaki (Phyllanthus niruri) is a potent hepato-protectant, which promotes normal functions of liver.
Kutki (Picrorrhiza kurroa) is a valuable bitter tonic, stomachic, mild laxative and potential hepato protectant. The herb is found useful in jaundice because of the presence of Kutkoside.
Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia,) & Kalmegh (Andrographis paniculata) are useful in cases of hepato-megali due to chronic malarial fever.
Regular use promotes proper digestion, better absorption and assimilation of food. It is ideal to compensate for rich and spicy food habit, alcohol consumption and lack of appetite.
