Natural antacid
This preparation contains a number of cooling herbs which help to neutralize excess acidity, preventing heart-burn & ulcer formation.
Amla (Phyllanthus emblica) has antibacterial and astringent properties which prevent infection and help in the healing of ulcers. Yasthimadhu (Glycyrrhiza glabra) is sweet & cooling which soothes the irritation caused by acids. Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) has been found to be effective in the treatment of atonic dyspepsia. It is a mild purgative so it is also used to treat digestive and acidity complaints in infants and young children. Jeera (Cuminum cyminum) has long been considered a stimulant and carminative. They are stomachic or useful in diarrhoea and dyspepsia.
